Our First Weeks in GA

As soon as we got to Georgia, Paul was busy with his residency program. And the first assignment was a trip to St. Simon's island for a dental seminar. St. Simon's is off the Georgia coast, almost to the Florida state line.

Paul got in a round of golf with some of the other residents.

We both did some sight seeing at the main village, but we didn't last long with the heat and humidity.

They also put on a great fireworks show for the 4th of July. Tyler couldn't take his eyes off of the sky. (Sorry, this is the best picture we've got.)

Back home in Augusta, Tyler really enjoys the pool at our apartment complex. We go swimming almost every day.

This is the Savannah River. Out West there are serious mountains, but here in the East there are serious rivers!

This is the path that runs along the Augusta riverfront. It's a good place for walking and for saying hello to folks.

This fountain was the coolest!

Tyler thought we were going swimming again.

  1. Eryn - I'm sorry that I hadn't visited your blog until today. Loved the new pictures. Tyler is so cute in the water. Hope you guys are enjoying your new life in the East. I'm sure when the weather cools off, it will be even more enjoyable.

    Love ya,

  2. What a beautiful place to live. The best thing about humidity is that you don't have to use hardly any lotion. Your skin stays soft. Tyler is growing up and looks so cute in the water. he'll be swimming laps before your know it. Love ya, Randa
